Raskolnokow Exhibition

Two of my prints have made their way over to Dresden to be included in another Foreign Affairs Exhibition. They are a pair of pressure prints, with ink drawings of aerial views of housing developments, they are titled present patterns, impermanence.

The exhibition celebrates the rich annual exchange of artists between the Grafikwerkstatt and Zygote Press. It’s an artist exchange program supported by the Ohio Arts Council, as Dresden is considered the sister city to Columbus.

I had the honor of being selected and sent over the Fall before Isabella was born –– now 7 years ago. My time and experiences in Dresden were absolutely transformative, and the continued dialog that has transpired between the exchange printshops, artists, and exhibition opportunities have provided such incredible opportunity.

I’ve included the back side of the card as well, in the case that any of you read German, or live in the vicinity to visit. I love the gray and the red and the minimal clean design of the card.
